Junior is a product of Remo Stars’ youth academy. He was named the team captain in 2020 as a teenager. He led the team to promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in 2021.
Junior has been a consistent performer for Remo and was the captain when the club won its first-ever league title in 2024.
The 22-year-old was also named captain of the home-based Eagles for the African Nations Championship (CHAN), being held in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.

The home-based team crashed out in the group stage after losing their first two matches to Senegal and Sudan. The team only defeated Congo Brazaville in a dead-rubber final group game.
Erbil SC is one of the most successful clubs in the Iraqi Stars League. The club has won the league four times and is the first Iraqi team to reach the Asian Champions League II final.
