Reports that Prince Harry — the younger brother to Prince Williams, the duke of Cambridge —and Cressida Bonas have broken up after two years of dating are now confirmed.

There are contrary reports on the cause of the breakup, People Magazine reporting that Prince Harry found Cressida “too needy” and said “it just isn’t working out”.

However, Showbiz Spy says the couple’s relationship packed up because of Bonas’ concerns. “Cressie is too young and had reservations about marrying into the Royal family,” a source told the site.

The breakup comes as a shock after months of speculations that Prince William’s younger brother was headed to the altar. E!News had earlier reported that Cressida was nervous about making it official with the young prince.
