Isaac Success Ajayi, Granada CF and ex-Nigeria youth international, has dedicated his award as Granada Player of the Year to his mother.

The FIFA U17 World Cup winner at UAE 2013 has been a revelation since joining the Spanish La Liga side.

He thanked his team mates and fans for voting him.

Thanks to all my team mates and fans for this player of the year award, HALA GRANADA.  mama this’s is for you LOVE YOU ????⚪️????⚽️,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Success was called up to Nigeria U-17 in 2013 team for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, and he was the vice captain. He appeared in the first two games, but was sidelined for the rest of the tournament due to injury.

In 2013, he signed a five-year deal with Udinese, being effective in January, for a €400,000 fee. However, he was only granted a work permit in March 2014, and immediately joined Granada CF, assigned to the reserves in Segunda Division B.

On 31 August 2014, Success made his first-team debut, starting in a 1-1 away draw against Elche CF at the age of 18 years and seven months, consequently becoming the Andalusians’ youngest player ever to appear in a La Liga match.

He scored his first professional goal on December 7, 2014, netting his side’s only of a home draw against Valencia CF.

On August 7, 2015 Success extended his link with the club, signing until 2019 as he was permanently promoted to the main squad.

Success has scored six La Liga goals this season and will be joining Watford for the start of the 2016/17 season.
