Arsenal are still searching for their first win at home after they battled to a scoreless draw with Liverpool at the Emirates.

The Gunners were without their regular central defence pair of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny and it wasn’t a surprise that they were fortunate not to be behind in the first half as Liverpool hit the woodwork twice.

But the home side looked stronger after the break and, although Alexis Sanchez hit the post as well, the visitors did enough to return home with a point.

It was frantic end-to-end stuff in the final moments, but an inspired Simon Mignolet earned his side a share of the spoil.
