Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo, on Tuesday, announced the dissolution of the state’s executive council.

A statement from Taiwo Adisa, chief press secretary to the governor, noted that those affected included the chief of staff and 17 commissioners.

The cabinet was constituted in August 2019, following the governor’s victory in the March 9, 2019 election.

The remaining council members, who were not affected, include the secretary to the state government, head of service, and the director-general of the due process office.
