Fady El-Daher, a Lebanese businessman who worked as the project manager of El-Alan Construction Company, Lagos, says he has resolved all the issues he had with the company.

In March 2015, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared him wanted for allegedly conniving with some of the sub-contractors employed by the company to inflate the cost of materials and measurement of work done on site.

But in two affidavits seen by TheCable, El-Daher said the issues between him and his former employer had been put to rest.

He called for a revocation of the charges against him.

The affidavits, dated September 15 and signed by M. Oriade, commissioner for oaths, Lagos high court, were sworn by one Ekebari Anah on behalf of Alan, and El-Daher.

“This affidavit is the proof of the fact that Fady El-Daher, formerly an employee of with El-Alan construction Nig. Ltd. has resolved all allegation with his employer of  El-Alan construction Nig. Ltd.,” the affidavit read in part.

“That the parties have agreed that all allegations and personal defamation of professional personal character have been settled between both parties.

“That any information that portrays Mr. Fady El-Daher in negative terms should cease and desist forthwith.”

However, efforts to reach Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman of the EFCC, to get the commission’s reaction proved abortive as he failed to respond to the text message sent to him.
