Nigerian youngster Alex Iwobi was impressive despite playing for only fifteen minutes in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s men twice came from behind to level up in the frenetic encounter on Sunday.

City grabbed the lead as early as the 5th minute after Leroy Sane fended off Héctor Bellerin and rounded David Ospina before slotting the ball into an empty net.

Arsenal capitalised on poor defending from City to level up in the 40th minute. Theo Walcott tapped in from close range after City had failed to deal with a corner.

Sergio Aguero instantly restored City’s lead with a powerful shot in the 42nd minute.

The Gunners restored parity from a corner kick in the 53rd minute as Shkodran Mustafi beat Otamendi to guide the ball into the far corner.

Arsenal has lost just once in 19 previous Premier League home matches against Manchester City.
