Alex Iwobi, Super Eagles forward, has been cleared to feature in Nigeria’s game against Lesotho after his second COVID-19 test returned negative.

Players and staff members of the Super Eagles took mandatory coronavirus tests on Monday ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match on Tuesday evening.

TheCable reported on Saturday, that the Everton forward had tested positive for the virus which sidelined him from featuring against Benin Republic in Porto Novo.
