The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited says Jean-Marc Cordier has joined its oil trading arm, NNPC Trading Limited.

Garba Deen Muhammad, NNPC spokesperson, made this known in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

According to the statement, Cordier, who is a former vice-president of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), joined the organisation as head of NNPC Trading.

Muhammad said the appointment was part of the company’s ongoing repositioning drive toward improved growth, performance, and service delivery.
