Abdulmumin Jibrin, former appropriations committee chairman of the house of representatives, has accused Yakubu Dogara, the speaker, of bribing members with $25,000 to sign a vote of confidence register.

Jibrin, who took to Twitter on Wednesday, said the register was opened at Dogara’s Asokoro guest house located at Wilbeford Juta crescent.

“Fellow Nigerians, in a desperate attempt, corrupt Speaker Dogara and the 3 others have opened a register for a vote of confidence signature, ” he said.

“The register is opened at his Asokoro guest house located at wilbeford Juta crescent. Hon members are giving $25,000 to sign.

“This disgraceful act is coordinated by Hon Zakari Mohammed, Hon Jagaba Adams Jagaba and deputy chief of staff to mr speaker Hon CID Maduabum.

“Investigation by anti-graft agencies is already on, I pledge to support the investigation and prosecution of these corrupt public officers.”

He added that it was a “shame” that had not responded to any of the allegations raised against him but has resorted to look for a “fraudulent cover.”

Jibrin had accused Dogara and 11 others of “padding” the 2016 budget.

What is $25,000 per MOR to N4b? The $25k (or Buhari’s N10m)will keep the banks away from them for some time.

    OBJ said it all.
