Junior Lokosa, NPFL goal king, joins Esperance

Junior Lokosa, Kano Pillars striker, has joined Esperance of Tunis Football Club on a two and half-year deal.

The announcement of Lokosa’s acquisition was announced by Esperance on Monday.

The 24-year-old was the highest goal scorer in the 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

“Arrived Saturday night in Tunis to finalize his transfer to Esperance, the top Nigerian scorer of last season, Junior Lokosa, has finally reached an agreement with the blood and gold.

“The former member of Kano Pillars FC engages with the club blood and gold until June 2021,” Esperance said in a statement.

The Tunisian side also welcomed the Nigerian via Twitter.
