Dangote Petroleum Refinery says its partners have reduced the pump price of premium motor spirit, also known as petrol, from N890 to N875 in Lagos.
Announcing the development on Thursday, the refinery said its partners will reduce the price of the product across the country.
According to the refinery, the partners include MRS, AP, Heyden, Optima, TechnOil, and Hyde filling stations.
The partners, Dangote refinery said, will sell a litre of petrol at N875 in Lagos and N885 in other states in the south-west region.

In the north-east, south-east, and south-south, the refinery said it has also collaborated with its partners to reduce the petrol price to N905 per litre.
In the north-west and north-central, the plant said it slashed the price to N895 per litre.
On May 12, the Dangote refinery reduced the ex-depot petrol price to N825 per litre.

The next day, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited also dropped the price of petrol across its retail outlets in Abuja.
