Danjauma La’ah, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator representing Kaduna south, has been declared winner of election in the district.

Suleiman Yashim, INEC returning officer who announced the result in Kafanchan on Monday, said La’ah scored a total of 268,923 votes to defeat Barnabas Bantex, deputy governor of the state, who scored 133,287 votes.

Bantex ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
