Paulo Dybala, Juventus forward, has become the latest footballer to test positive for coronavirus.

The Argentine confirmed his COVID-19 status on his official Twitter handle on Saturday.

“Hello everyone, I wanted to inform you that we have just received the results of the Covid-19 test and both Oriana and I tested positive. Luckily we are in perfect condition. Thank you for your messages and a greeting to all,” he wrote.

Juventus, in a statement, also confirmed that Dybala has already been in isolation for ten days, having voluntarily entered on March 11.

“He has been in voluntary home isolation since Wednesday 11 March,” Juventus statement said.

“He will continue to be monitored, following the usual regime. He is well and is asymptomatic.”

Dybala is the third Bianconeri star to test positive after defender Daniele Rugani and World Cup winner Blaise Matuidi.

Oriana, Dybala’s girlfriend, has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Both are currently in isolation together at Dybala’s home in Turin.
