Sunday Karimi, the senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, says the contractor handling the Kabba-Egbe-Ilorin road will return to site in the next two weeks.

The road is a key transport corridor that connects Kogi to Kwara, facilitating movement of people and goods across north-central Nigeria.

Karimi spoke on Saturday at the 2025 Isanlu Day celebration.

The senator said his efforts to ensure the resumption of work on the strategic road project have yielded results.
