Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna-north senatorial district have formally endorsed President Bola Tinubu, Uba Sani, the state governor, and Tajudeen Abbas, house of representatives speaker, for a second term in 2027.
The endorsement was announced during a stakeholder meeting held on Saturday in Zaria.
The meeting was chaired by Abdulkadir Mayere, secretary to the Kaduna state government (SSG), and attended by Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, former governor, ministers, lawmakers, federal and state appointees, commissioners and other APC leaders from the state.
The stakeholders praised what they described as the “giant strides” recorded by the Tinubu-led federal government and the Sani administration in Kaduna.

They also acknowledged Abbas’ performance since assuming office, stating that the trio have shown leadership that deserves continuity.
“The best way Kaduna, especially this senatorial zone, can reciprocate the president’s support is by ensuring APC wins all elective positions in 2027,” Balarabe Abbas, minister of environment, said.
Abbas urged party members to avoid being misled by what he called a “blind horse going around that cannot take them anywhere”.

In his remarks, Tajudeen Abbas revealed that over ₦50 billion has been allocated in the 2025 federal budget for projects across the eight local government areas in the senatorial district.
He also noted significant budgetary provisions for institutions including Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Kaduna State University (KASU), and the College of Education, Gidan Waya.
Abbas added that thousands of farmers in the zone would benefit from a forthcoming distribution of farm inputs, equipment and seeds.
He further called for regular party meetings at all levels and urged elected officials and appointees to ensure inclusive service delivery.
