Agbu Kefas, governor of Taraba state, says he will join the All Progressives Congress (APC) on November 19.
In a chat with journalists on Saturday, the governor formally announced that he will be leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling party.
Kefas said the defection “has to do with the destiny of Taraba people”, and that he will be “expecting a lot of visitors” for the ceremony.
“There is going to be a major shift and alignment on November 19,” the governor said.
