Kogi west deserves better representation, says Smart Adeyemi

Smart Adeyemi, senatorial candidate for Kogi west, says Koton Karfe and its environs deserve better representation for a much sustainable future.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to Abdulrasaq Koto, ohimege of Koton Karfe, Adeyemi said the district’s current representation at the senate “is not making the local government proud”.

He was accompanied by Adoga Ibrahim, director general of his campaign, and Ropo Asala, Kogi west All Progressives Congress (APC) zonal chairman.

Smart highlighted the strides made during his tenure as the senator representing the district in the sixth and seventh senate.

He noted that upon his return to the national assembly, he will work towards the engagement of youth in policy and job creation, as well as sporting activities.

He also promised to build stadiums in various local government areas to ensure that the youth participate in activities to keep them away from being idle.

While in Edeha, Adeyemi promised to help the people of the community expand their fishing businesses in order to encourage the exportation of their sea food produce.

He also assured his supporters that he “will do his best to work in partnership” with Isah Wambai, APC candidate for the house of representatives.
