The Lagos state government has announced plans to divert traffic on the Lekki-Ajah corridor for road rehabilitation purposes.
The repair works will commence on November 15, 2025 and end on July 15, 2026, Alausa has relayed.
In a statement, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Lagos commissioner for transportation, said the rehabilitation has been divided into two segments to minimise traffic disruption.
The first phase will commence at Lekki 1st toll gate to Lekki 2nd toll gate; while the second phase will begin at Lekki 2nd toll gate and terminate at Ajah underbridge.
