The 10th edition of the Nigeria Innovation Summit (NIS) will take place in Lagos.
In a statement on Wednesday, InnovationHub Africa, organisers of the annual event, said this year’s summit is themed ‘Sustainable Innovation’.
The summit, scheduled for October 7 to 8 at the Muson Centre, Onikan, will convene key stakeholders across sectors to discuss trends and opportunities for solving pressing challenges through innovation.
Tony Ajah, programme director of the summit, said the event will explore how innovation can drive sustainable development and inclusive growth.

“As the world grapples with pressing challenges from climate change to social and economic inequality, innovation must go beyond what is new to what is sustainable and inclusive,” he said.
“We must rethink how we create, and build solutions that serve not just the present needs, but also protect and empower generations to come.”
Ajah said the summit would bring together startups, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders from within and outside Nigeria.

The organisers said the two-day event will feature innovative displays, workshops, fireside chats, Nigeria innovation experience talks (NiX Talks), startup pitches, and exhibitions focused on healthtech, agritech, artificial intelligence (AI), fintech, edtech, and renewable energy,.
The summit will also close with the 2025 Nigeria Innovation Awards.
Participation is open to startups, innovators, investors, public and private institutions, and members of the academic community.
