Frank Lampard haunted his old club Chelsea when he netted a late equaliser for Manchester City at the Etihad.

Lampard scored five minutes from time as the Citizens grabbed a vital point.

Andre Schurrle looked to have won it for the Blues when he tapped home from Eden Hazard’s cross in the 70th minute.

City pressed early on and Edin Dzeko went close in the seventh minute but his header went wide.

City were camped in Chelsea’s half but the game had a bit of spice to it.

The home side were reduced to 10 men when Pablo Zabaleta was sent off for a late challenge on Diego Costa.

Schurrle struck and then Costa came close to making it two but slammed his effort against the base of Joe Hart’s post.

But Lampard saved the best part of the game for the last with an emphatic finish.

Leicester produced a sensational comeback to beat Manchester United 5-3 at the King Power Stadium – their first home victory over the 20-time champions since 1985.

The Premier League newcomers found themselves 2-0 down thanks to goals from Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria, who scored with a stunning chip over Kasper Schmeichel.

Leicester took full advantage of United’s frailties at the back as Leonardo Ulloa pulled one back but Ander Herrera’s restored United two-goal cushion.

David Nugent scored from the spot after a needless foul by Rafael on Jamie Vardy and Esteban Cambiasso made it 3-3 with a goal on his full debut.

Eleven minutes from full-time, Vardy handed the Foxes the lead and then it got worse for the Red Devils when Tyler Blackett was sent off for bringing down an opponent in the box.

Ulloa stepped up to convert from the spot for his fifth goal of the season to lift Nigel Pearson’s side into sixth position with a famous 5-3 victory.

Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Everton 3-2 and pick up their first win of the season.

The hosts dominated the early on and deservedly went ahead in the ninth minute through Romelu Lukaku.

On the half mark, though, Palace gradually came into the game and equalised through Mile Jedinak after Tim Howard brought down James McArthur in the box.

Howard was at fault again as he misjudged a cross from Martin Kelly to allow Frazier Campbell to head home from close range on 54 minutes and Yannick Bolasie meet a Jason Puncheon’s pass on 69 minutes to further extend the lead.

Leighton Baines reduced the tally on 83 minutes from the penalty spot after Scott Dann brought down Leon Osman to set up a tense finish.

But the Eagles held on for a vital win.

At White Hart Lane, Alan Irvine secured his first league win as West Brom’s manager against Tottenham. It was a first victory at the home of Spurs for the Baggies since 1984.

West Brom should have had a first-half penalty when Emmanuel Adebayor handled a Craig Dawson header, but they continued to press after the break.

A 74th header from Morrison, left unmarked at a corner by Erik Lamela, proved the difference, condemning Spurs to back-to-back home defeats in the league for the first time since November 2012.
