A group known as Goodluck Nigeria Ambassadors says the country needs Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, “the most”.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, Osain Azibalua, director-general of the group, said Tinubu is ordained by God to lead the country at this time.

“We believe that senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the right leader for Nigeria at this crucial time. It is worth remembering that the Bible says leaders are ordained by God,” Azibalua said.

“We strongly believe senator Tinubu has come at the time our nation needs him the most.

“He has a proven track record of success in business and politics, and we are confident that his policies and programs will lead to economic growth and prosperity for all Nigerians.”

Azibalua said Tinubu is “a visionary leader” who has demonstrated his commitment to the development of Nigeria

“We also recognize that the success of Senator Tinubu’s administration depends not only on his leadership but on the support and cooperation of all Nigerians,” he said.

“We must come together as a people and put aside our religious and ethnic differences, and work toward the common goal of building a prosperous and peaceful Nigeria. It is time to heal the wounds of the past and forge a new path for our country.

“We must also be vigilant against those who seek to use our differences to instigate a crisis. We must not allow ourselves to be used by the political class to achieve their selfish interests.

“We must stand together and resist any attempt to divide us.”
