London 2017: Farah fails to win 5000m gold, settles for silver

Ethiopia’s Mukhtar Eedris has defeated Briton Mo Farah to win gold in the 5000m final at the World Athletics Championship in London.

Farah who hangs his boots after the tournament took silver in the tight long distance race.

The 34-year-old had been unbeaten for six years against the best in the world.

Farah has won the world title at the last three championships.

The British track icon was hoping to bow out on a high but like Usain Bolt, he’ll have to settle for second best in his final race.
