A federal high court in Lagos has remanded Okeke Ebuke, the man who was arrested by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for recycling expired products in Lagos.

Officials of the agency’s investigation and enforcement directorate nabbed Ebuka as he was changing the labels of some expired products at a one- room shop that he converted into an illegal factory in the Amuwo Odofin local government area of Lagos.

Ebuka confessed that the products were the unsold part of a batch he imported from Ghana.

However, he was arraigned on a five-count charge on Tuesday but pleaded not guilty.
