Imagine you were born in 1885, and you were told that by 1903 man would be able to fly in the sky like birds. You probably would’ve looked the person dead in the eye with incredulity. How can this be possible?

Imagine you were told 25 years ago, that beauty and make up would be a lucrative business venture which would empower both women and men; you probably would have laughed it off.

It all begins with an idea, a spark of life. That tree you see every day on your way home was a tiny seed that went through different stages and processes. The building that towers so high was nothing more than an architectural sketch that was eventually developed. What about you? You were once a fetus, now you’re a fully developed functional being.

We are in a constant state of flux, and that gives us the ability to create, recreate and improve on what previously existed. We cannot fully see the endless possibilities available to us.

The beauty of constant improvement and tinkering with already laid down rules is awe-inspiring. It’s what makes us marvel at great inventions, and it’s why some ‘elders’ have difficulties reconciling with the fact that communicating with each other over the phone is an act of man. Maybe not always.

Everything can always be improved upon. You have heard, ‘Those who say it can’t be done shouldn’t interrupt those doing it.’ You know you shouldn’t be interrupted while doing it.

Never rest on ‘what might have been’ or on ‘what is,’ or ‘what was,’ rather rest on ‘what can be.’

The human mind was created to exceed limitations, tap into that endless reservoir of creativity.

Whatever happens, there is always a better way to do something.

Find it and do it.

In essence, look for a different angle.

Innovate.
