MASSOB: Buhari believes he’ll easily crush Biafra
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) says President Muhammadu Buhari’s belief that he will “easily crush Biafra” is erroneous because God, history and humanity are on the side of those agitating for secession.
The pro-Biafran group said the actions and decisions of Buhari’s administration keep giving credence to the clamour for the Republic of Biafra.
In a statement released on Thursday, Uchenna Madu, MASSOB leader, said the support given to the pro-Biafrans by militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, will increase their chances of secession.
“The president, in inner sense of reasoning, believes that he will easily crush Biafra, maybe with his intimidating tendencies over Igbo governors, national assembly members, religious/opinion/political leaders. MASSOB views the president’s constant negative comments on Biafra consciousness as a sign of jittery.
“As every revolutionary struggle has its own methodology, the current Biafran struggle for actualization and restoration will continue to unfold confusing methods to the President. The involvement of Niger Delta Avengers and other Niger Delta freedom fighters in the Biafra struggle will continue to hunt those opposed to the actualization of Biafra.”
Empty boasts by Buhari, he said that naira should not be devalued but he later did otherwise. He is championing one Nigeria, and the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable, he is joking.
