Bello Matawalle, governor of Zamfara, has been criticised on social media over the inspection of a lodge of the state government in Kaduna.

Abdulwali Anwar Tahir, the governor’s senior special assistant on new media, had tweeted images of the lodge, saying Matawalle went to see for himself “the ongoing project.”

“His Excellency Governor Dr. @Bellomatawalle1 went to see for himself the ongoing project of Zamfara State Government Lodge in Kaduna,” Tahir tweeted.

Also, a supporter of the governor using same pictures tweeted, saying: “If we have many capable, fearless, workaholic and intelligent politicians like @Bellomatawalle1 in Nigeria, Nigeria won’t be as bad as this, Once again congrats Zamfarawa for having DODO as your 001.”

However, many social media users kicked against the action, saying the governor ought not to embark on such project when a lot needed to be done back in Zamfara.

But some persons still hailed the governor, especially for his performance in other areas such as health and agriculture.
