Mo’Abudu to speak at ‘Creative Nigeria Summit’

The ministry of information and culture in conjunction with ThinkTank media, have announced the 2018 edition of the Creative Nigeria Summit #CNS2018.

Creative Nigeria Summit is a “platform to examine and exchange ideas, innovations and create sustainable solutions” to challenges and opportunities within the Nigerian creative industry.

The summit tagged “Content: The future of Nigerian Film & Television in a Digital Era” will at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, on July 17 and July 18.

Some of the speakers at the summit  Mo Abudu,CEO of top Nigerian television and film production company, EbonyLife; Jason Njoku, CEO and co-founder of iROKOTV; Sanjay Salil, founder of Media Guru; Bada Johnson, country manager, Viacom International Media.

The speakers will explore critical topics like; new frontiers in media and entertainment industry, content creation, content monetisation, distribution and marketing, creating an interactive platform (video on demand), digital and media asset management.

According to the organisers, the summit which holds annually, will bring welcome top local and international key players, thought leaders and professionals to tackle challenges bothering on the on-going digital migration in the Nigerian television landscape and provide insight on the dynamics of content in a purely digital TV industry.

Taiwo Olakunle, managing director of ThinkTank media, said the summit organisers are excited to welcome a group of experts from Nigeria and abroad, many of whom have impacted the industry through innovation to speak.

“We are honored to be working with key industry professionals from across the world who, through their contributions, made CNS a world class event last year,” he said in a statement.

“This year’s event promises to be lot more impactful, as we ceaselessly move to grow the Nigerian creative industry with this gathering of creative minds.”
