Tosin Eniolorunda, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Moniepoint, has described the SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, Lagos, as a world-class centre.
Eniolorunda spoke during an interactive session with participants during his visit to the facility on Monday.
The financial technology expert said the lab’s facilities and faculty meet global standards.
The CEO said technology and digital skills have become the currency of the modern world and urged young Nigerians to take advantage of opportunities in the tech ecosystem.

He said the demand for tech talents continues to grow globally, adding that youths must remain focused and committed to continuous learning.
Eniolorunda praised Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, senator representing Lagos east and co-founder of the SAIL Empowerment Foundation, saying he has given young people in the district a good platform to grow and compete globally.
“Leadership that invests in people, especially the youth, through technology and innovation is leadership for the future,” the CEO said.

He also described Abiru as a leader whose work should be copied by others.
In his response, Abiru congratulated Eniolorunda on his achievements in the tech sector, especially his success in building Moniepoint into a globally recognised company.
“Your journey sends a powerful message to our youths, that success is attainable if they are willing to pay the price and fully commit themselves to knowledge and personal development,” he said.
Abiru thanked the Moniepoint founder for serving as an example to the learners at the lab, demonstrating that excellence, perseverance, and commitment to learning can open limitless possibilities.

Also speaking, Opeyemi Alabi, senior special assistant to the governor of Lagos, praised the vision behind the lab, saying the project shows foresight and commitment to development.
Alabi described Abiru as a leader whose impact-driven work is opening real opportunities for young people.
