Nigerian winger Victor Moses was absent as Chelsea fell to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues took the lead in the 5th minute through Cesc Fabregas’ fourth goal of the season but Crystal Palace responded almost immediately as Wilfried Zaha’s equalised in the 9th minute.

Not too long after the equaliser, Palace struck again – in the 12th minute.

After running through the defence of Chelsea and getting some help from Zaha, Christian Benteke dunked the ball over Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois.

Sam Allardyce’s men have now won four Premier League matches in a row.

The Eagles are fighting to remain in the division, with only four points separating them from the bottom three.

Benteke has scored five goals in his last eight league appearances against Chelsea.

Tottenham beat Burnley 2-0 to cut Chelsea’s lead at the top to seven points.

Moses who has been available for Chelsea all season missed the match due to injury.

He withdrew from Nigeria’s friendly game against Senegal last week.
