Moses Simon signs a three-year deal with newly promoted Paris FC

Moses Simon, Super Eagles midfielder, has joined newly promoted French Ligue 1 side Paris FC. 

The 29-year-old announced the move in a post on his X page on Wednesday.

He joins Paris FC from FC Nantes, where he had been since 2019.

Simon penned a three-year deal with his new club, which will see him in their books until the summer of 2028.

“Happy to join Paris FC. An ambitious project, a new page to write, and the desire to give my all for the club and the fans. Eager to experience this season with you,” the winger writes. 

A day before his move to Paris FC was official, Simon had penned a heartfelt farewell to Nantes and the club’s fans.

“Six seasons giving it my all with heart. Sprints, crosses, thrills… and memories etched in,” he wrote.

“Thank you, FC Nantes, thank you, Beaujoire. I leave with pride and a piece of this club in my heart.”

Simon scored eight goals and provided 10 assists in 32 league appearances for Nantes last season. He was with the club for six years after initially arriving on loan from Spanish club Levante in the 2019/20 season, before his eventual purchase a year later.

Paris FC gained promotion to Ligue 1 last season for the first time in 46 years.
