Moses Stoke City’s best player, says Shawcross
Stoke City defender, Ryan Shawcross, is of the opinion that Victor Moses has been the team’s best player in every game he has played for the club.
Moses, who was brought in on a loan deal from Chelsea this summer, has wasted no time making an impression at the Britannia Stadium.
The former winger’s pace and power have proven to be a threat to defenders in the Barclays Premier League and Shawcross believes he has been their player of the season so far.
“He (Moses) has been our best player,” he told the Sentinel.
“Every game he’s played, he’s been our best player on the pitch.”
Moses, who could be out for up to a month with a niggling thigh injury, has come up short at the very top level of English football so far in his career – with disappointing spells at Liverpool and Chelsea – but he looks to have been a good addition from Mark Hughes.
