The EPL managerial sacking claimed it’s second victim in less than 24 hours with news of David Moyes’ departure from West Ham.

Following the end of Sam Allardyce’s six months tenure at Everton, their former manager, Moyes, gets similar treatment at West Ham where he also managed six months with the Hammers.

Moyes was hired by West Ham to help them survive relegation, an objective the 55-year old achieved with two games to spare, and the owners have told the former Manchester United manager he is no longer needed at the club.

“When David and his team arrived, it was the wish of both parties that the focus be only on the six months until the end of the season, at which point a decision would be made with regards to the future,” West Ham joint-chairman, David Sullivan stated.

West Ham owners, David Gold and David Sullivan, the pair popularly called Gollivan by fans, seek a new direction for the London club in the upcoming season and look to hire a new manager within a fortnight.

“We feel that it is right to move in a different direction. We aim to appoint a high-calibre figure who we feel will lead the club into an exciting future for our loyal supporters within the next 10 days,” Sullivan declared.

Former Real Sociedad manager, David Moyes, recorded nine wins and ten draws from 31 games as West Ham boss, but his team shipped at least three goals in nine games and relied more on the individual brilliance of the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Manuel Lanzini, Andy Carroll and captain, Mark Noble to win games.
