The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has called on the federal government to investigate the killing of scores of residents by a military air strike on Tudun Biri village, Igabi LGA of Kaduna.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ishaq Akintola, executive director of MURIC, described the incident as “carelessness and lack of professionalism”.

On Sunday, the military air strike targeted at terrorists killed many villagers celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

Akintola condemned the killings, adding that persons behind the incident should be punished.
