NABTEB registrar Aminu Muhammed
The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) is set to partner with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) to boost vocational training and provide housing opportunities for workers.
Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, NABTEB registrar, met with Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, FMBN chairman, at the NABTEB office in Abuja.
The board, in a statement on Wednesday, said the discussion focused on “improving the capacity of workers in various industries” and “exploring ways to provide housing opportunities for workers.”
Mohammed, who was appointed NABTEB registrar by President Bola Tinubu in March 2025, described the visit as a “great development.”

Gawuna, a former deputy governor of Kano, commended NABTEB’s efforts and emphasised the importance of partnerships between financial and educational institutions to address unemployment and housing challenges.
The FMBN chairman said the collaboration highlights a growing trend of institutional partnerships aimed at boosting technical education and socio-economic development.
