The Nasarawa government has postponed the inauguration of its house of assembly.

The inauguration of the 7th assembly was earlier billed for Tuesday.

Ibrahim Musa, the acting clerk of the house, said the postponement was based on security advice to Abdullahi Sule, the governor.

Musa called on the members-elect and the public to bear with the decision as a new date will be communicated to them.
