The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has reiterated its decision to terminate all projects not executed from the year 2000 to 2019.

This was contained in a statement signed by Ibitoye Abosede, director, corporate affairs, NDDC.

According to the statement, all projects awarded by the commission between 2000 and December 31, 2019, for which the beneficiary contractors are yet to mobilise to site, have been cancelled.

In May, 2022, NDDC said the cancellation followed recommendations from its recently-concluded forensic audit report.
