Wilfred Ndidi says Leicester’s 6-1 loss to Tottenham is the lowest point of his career with the Foxes thus far.

The Nigerian midfielder who is one of the shining lights of the club says the Leicester team is determined to end the season on a positive note.

He said Leicester will tap into the anger of the drastic loss when they face Bournemouth on Sunday.

“It was really disappointing. It is the lowest I have felt since joining,” Ndidi told Leicester Mercury.

“The coach said now we have to finish on a high, he wants that. For the goals, everyone is angry and everybody is not happy about it.

“We just have to let it go and focus on the last game. We really tried to get back in the game but Tottenham broke after the third goal. Everything was not normal.

“We really need to try to end the season with a smile on the face of the fans. It is possible we will use the anger on Sunday to help us. I am thinking about this and we have to give everything to win.

“I could see the anger in Kasper’s (Schmeichel) face but everybody is sad.”

Ndidi said the players are doing their best to help Craig Shakespeare secure a permanent role as the club’s gaffer.

“I don’t know but Shakey is a good coach,” he added. “Every player is doing his best.”
