Wilfred Ndidi, Super Eagles midfielder, scored the fifth goal in Leicester City’s 5-0 demolition of Newcastle United.

The combative midfielder capped a dominant midfield performance with his second goal of the league season against a poor Newcastle side.

It was his second goal of a season in which he has only missed one game.

Wing back, Ricardo Perreira opened scoring with a long-range strike from outside the box in the 16th minute.

A woeful Newcastle side went into halftime break a man down after midfielder Isaac Hayden’s dangerous two-footed challenge earned him a straight dismissal in the 41st minute.

The Foxes, in their King Power stadium fortress, went riot in the second period with four goals.

Jamie Vardy made it 2-0 with a shot at the near post in the 54th minute and three minutes later, it was three via a Paul Dummet own goal.

The England striker would make it four-nil with a header to complete his brace.

It was then time in the final minute for the 22-year old to put the icing on a commanding performance in which he grafted and dominated the midfield.

The former Genk midfielder collected the ball in the box with his back to goal and delivered a scuffed, low shot which found the back of the net.

Leicester City sit third on the EPL table with 14 points from seven matches.
