Ndidi’s wonder goal nominated for EPL goal of the week

Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi’s stunning strike in Leicester City’s 2-0 win against Stoke City has been nominated for the English Premier League goal of the week.

Ndidi scored a screamer from 25 yards – his first ever EPL goal – to put his side ahead on Saturday.

The Super Eagles star will compete with four others, including teammate Jamie Vardy, for the EPL goal of the week.

According to Sky Sports, the other goals competing for the goal of the week are:

Christian Benteke (Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace)

Wilfred Zaha (Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace)

Jamie Vardy (Leicester City 2-0 Stoke City)

Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool 3-1 Everton)
