For the third week running, fuel has been a scarce commodity in the country.

From Lagos to Abuja to Enugu, Kaduna, fuel queues have taken over major roads. The situation has grown worse despite assurances from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Some aggrieved Nigerians decided to vent on Twitter.

Here are some tweets on the situation:

Mehn, this #fuelscarcity is on steroids. Just bought fuel for my generator at N300/litre from the black market guys on my street. This is the highest I've ever paid for a litre.
If only we have a Minister of Petroleum & a President, things wouldn't be this bad would there?

We showed understanding when they increased pump price to N145.

Any attempt to increase it again would be rejected outrightly with massive protest..

This is the 3rd fuel scarcity under Buhari in 2 1/2 years. First one was in Sept-December 2015. For 3 months Nigeria suffered but PMB didn't blink.
