News Central TV, a media channel focused on telling African stories, has been recognised at the 2025 PR Power List Awards.

The awards ceremony, held on July 18 at Alliance Française, Mike Adenuga Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos, celebrated Nigeria’s public relations and communications professionals.

The event spotlighted 50 individuals and organisations for their innovation and impact in strategic communications.

News Central was honoured alongside other leading media organisations and communicators, highlighting the station’s growing influence in journalism and public engagement.

The annual PR Power List is curated by GLG Communications in partnership with The Guardian and Edelman Afrique.

It features categories such as Rising Voices, Changemakers, Community Impact, and Fourth Estate, recognising efforts to drive transparency, trust, and influence within the industry.

Rosemary Egabor Afolahan, director of commercial and communications at News Central, expressed gratitude to the organisers and commended the News Central team for their role in achieving the recognition.
