Newspaper Headlines: 100 feared dead in Zamfara mine collapse

New Telegraph reports that Rashidi Ladoja, the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu for the creation of Ibadan state from Oyo state before 2027. The newspaper adds that Afenifere, the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, has asked the senate and attorney-general’s office to investigate if Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan lied against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
