Reports on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, and discussions on a new wage award for workers, dominate the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that the chief executive officers and top management staff of banks may be probed during the ongoing investigation of the activities of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The newspaper says state governments have commenced talks with labour leaders over a N35,000 wage award.

The Nation reports that the federal government is targeting five million jobs for youths in five years. The newspaper says Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, governor of Kwara, has called on the federal government to expedite action on the dredging of River Niger/Benue to halt the annual flooding.
