Newspaper Headlines: DSS report won’t stop protest, NLC tells FG

The Punch reports that the Nigeria Labour Congress says the report by the Department of State Services (DSS) will not stop the union from embarking on a solidarity rally for ASUU strike. The newspaper says 1,837 people have been killed in 18 months in Kaduna.

The Nation reports that Ahmed Idris, suspended accountant-general of the federation, received a bribe of N15 billion to facilitate payments to states. The newspaper says a UK doctor has been charged for complicity in Ekweremadu’s case.



The Sun reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) says the party’s loss in Osun election shows that it is not in control of INEC. The newspaper says airline operators warn of flight cancellations owing to aviation fuel scarcity.
