The national dailies report that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered N30 billion from the sum allegedly laundered by the ministry of humanitarian affairs in the last administration.

Tribune says Shehu Sani, a former senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district, said over 10,000 schools in the north have been shut due to kidnapping and terrorism. The newspaper reports that over 60 lives have been lost in three months following the attacks by suspected armed herders who invaded communities in Agatu LGA of Benue.

Punch reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered over N30 billion from the alleged money laundered in the ministry of humanitarian affairs under Sadiya Umar-Farouk, the former minister.
