Reports on the lingering crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that G5 governors and the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign have clashed over a court order restraining Iyorchia Ayu from acting as national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The newspaper says the National Population Commission (NPC) has asked Nigerians not to travel to their states of origin for the purpose of the census.

The Nation reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed supplementary elections in Adamawa, Kebbi, Plateau, Yobe and Sokoto states for April 15. The newspaper says Chris Ngige, minister of labour, has met with Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and Joe Ajaero, president of Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), over the lingering naira scarcity in the country.

Daily Trust reports that queues in banking halls and automated teller machines (ATMs) outlets persist despite the announcement of the apex bank that commercial banks have received old naira notes. The newspaper says Spain topped the export destination of Nigerian products in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Daily Independent reports that the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is set to collaborate with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to prosecute electoral offenders in the country. The newspaper says the Lagos government has insisted that motorcycles remain banned in 10 LGAs in the state.

Daily Sun reports that supporters of Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, staged a protest in Abuja to insist that the former Lagos governor won the February 25 presidential election. The newspaper says police arrested 781 electoral offenders during the just concluded elections in the country.
