Newspaper Headlines: Five arrested over killing of two Kano youths in Benue

Reports on the reinstatement of Samuel Anyanwu as national secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) suffuse the cover pages of today’s newspapers. 

 

The Punch reports that tensions in the PDP escalated as Seyi Makinde and Nyesom Wike clashed over the national executive committee (NEC) meeting date and the reinstatement of Samuel Anyanwu as national secretary. The newspaper adds that President Bola Tinubu says his administration has strengthened the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) into a key driver of public-private partnership projects nationwide.
