The impeachment threat issued to President Muhammadu Buhari by opposition senators in the national assembly over rising insecurity dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Nation reports that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has insisted on continuing the strike if the federal government does not meet its demands. The newspaper says the rising aviation fuel price has forced airlines to cut flights.
