Reports on the arrival of foreign guests and other dignitaries in Abuja, the country’s capital, for the inauguration of Bola Tinubu as the president dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that foreigners and other dignitaries have started arriving at the federal capital territory (FCT) for the inauguration of Bola Tinubu, president-elect. The newspaper says Tunde Bakare, the overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, said he will never address Tinubu as his president.

The Nation reports that Tinubu has pledged to dedicate himself to the service of the nation and Africa. The newspaper says President Muhammadu Buhari said he is leaving Nigeria better than he met it in 2015.
